Course Overview |
| The philosophy behind our course is to deter further drink drive problems and not to judge, reprimand or punish. Participants are assisted through an educational process to avoid drink drive situations. Emphasis is placed on supplying a course that combines professionalism with flexibility, meets the participants' needs and adheres to the guidelines governing the Scheme. | |
| The tutor's ability to deliver a structured course and the creation of an environment that induces the willingness to learn are both recognized as essential components in achieving our objectives. Trainers, in conjunction with the students, are able to define their goals and tasks as a group in relation to the course syllabus, ensuring students do not feel bullied, rushed or patronised. | |
| Our course has been constructed by professionals in the adult education field. Special attention has been paid to the fact that there are bound to be people attending the course who have not participated in any form of classroom training for several years. The course therefore takes this into account and whilst it uses various procedures to help students monitor their progress, there are no examinations to pass or fail. | |
| Students are, however, required to participate to the best of their ability, in order to qualify for their Completion Certificate. | |
| Courses are available weekdays and weekends. Courses consist of three or four separate modules, comprising a total of 16 hours contact time plus refreshment breaks. |
